Spark Product Update 12/16/24: Sentiment Scores, Better Document Diligence, and more!
Dear Spark User,
At Spark, we're committed to transforming how renewable energy projects are developed. Every two weeks, we'll share updates on new features and improvements that help streamline your development workflow. Spark is split up into two core features: Reports and Document Diligence.
Today, we’re excited to spotlight a highly requested feature: County-level sentiment aggregation. But that’s not all! Continue reading for the full suite of updates:
Reports
Sentiment Aggregation: Get a sentiment rating and a county’s development feasibility determined by public filings, meeting minutes, and local news sources. Try it now with any county and state (ie. “Baltimore, MD”)
Expanded Coverage of New Markets: We've added coverage for Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Nebraska, and Georgia, in addition to existing data in key states such as MD, IL, OH, NY, PA, VA, CA, and others.
Document Diligence
Improve Answers: New "Retry" button allows you to refine answers until they meet your needs.
Advanced Summarization: We’ve enhanced the Spark AI backend to deliver more comprehensive summaries from complex documents. So now, a question such as “Can you provide a summary of the document identifying key requirements?” will be more comprehensive than short bullets.
Connect With Us: Your feedback is an instrumental part of our roadmap. We particularly welcome:
Market coverage requests
Data sources to incorporate (ie. town hall meeting recordings, solar siting, and zoning regulations)
Features you'd like to see supported
